Transfer Milan to Venice with stop in Bergamo – Transfer Venice to Milan with stop in Bergamo
The transfer tour will begin with your private driver collecting you from your hotel in Milan or Venice (another custom location in the area can be agreed). You will enjoy a door-to-door private chauffeur service to your hotel from Milan to Venice or viceversa. During the transfer you’ll have an en-route stop in Bergamo for a 2 hours guided tour.
You will meet your official private guide and start a walking tour through the walled hilltops of Bergamo’s Old Town. Stretching for more than five kilometres, the medieval walls that once protected the hilly old town of Bergamo are one of the most important pieces of evidence of defensive structures in the fifteenth century. Celts, Goths, Romans and Lombards, but it was the four centuries under the Venetian that were the most significant in creating the town’s charming history and culture.
You will pass through Piazza Vecchia, the heart of the old town and continue the tour to remarkable historical and religious monuments such as the town hall (Palazzo della Ragione), the St. Maria Maggiore cathedral, the Colleoni chapel and the baptistery.
Before leaving, don’t forget to take a moment and admire the beautiful landscape. A mountain region that extends all the way to Lake Como, lush vegetation, villas, and farmhouses.
After the visit of Bergamo the trip will then conclude with the transfer to your hotel in Milan or Venice.
Please note that in Venice pick-up/drop-off location is Piazzale Roma. If you wish we can also organize a private water taxi from your hotel in Venice to the pick-up point in Piazzale Roma or viceversa.
