About the tour
Discover the breathtaking beauty of the Cinque Terre on a private day trip from La Spezia, perfect as a shore excursion for cruise passengers. Your English-speaking driver will collect you from your hotel or cruise ship in a fully equipped Mercedes Benz vehicle and take you to Manarola, the first of the “Five Lands,” where your licensed private guide awaits. Together you’ll explore the colorful villages of Manarola, Vernazza, and Monterosso, travelling between them by train or ferry, with time to stroll the narrow pebbled streets, admire the ancient fortress and domed church of Vernazza, and taste the flavors of the Ligurian coast. After approximately 8 unforgettable hours, your chauffeur will return you to La Spezia or any other desired location.

Cinque Terre day trip from La Spezia – Shore Excursion from the port of La Spezia
The tour will begin with your private driver collecting you from your hotel or cruise ship in La Spezia (another custom location in the area can be agreed) with a luxury sedan or minivan, and after about 1H drive you will reach Manarola, the first of the “Five Lands”, namely “Cinque Terre“.
Upon arrival in Manarola, you will meet your licensed private guide who will lead you through this beautiful town. Your tour will proceed through the narrow pebbled streets, bringing you to the rocky cove surrounded by colorful buildings.
From Manarola, you will take a train/ferry for a short ride to Vernazza. Enjoy the ancient fortress used to protect the town for centuries from pirates and visit the domed church dedicated to Santa Margherita d’Antiochia. During the tour, accordingly to the itinerary and your tour guide suggestions, you can have lunch and taste the flavors of the regions.
From Vernazza, you will then depart by train/ferry and reach our last stop, the beautiful village of Monterosso. The tour will then conclude with a transfer back to your hotel/cruise ship in La Spezia or other desired location.
Please note that the towns of Cinque Terre cannot be toured by car! You will visit the different villages together with your private guide (about 4H private tour) by train or ferry (ferry service is suspended during Autumn/Winter season and in case of bad sea conditions). Your chauffeur will take you from La Spezia to Manarola and then will pick you up again in Monterosso to drive back to La Spezia.
