About the tour
Escape the port of Livorno for a day and immerse yourself in the magic of the Cinque Terre on this private tour, ideal as a shore excursion for cruise passengers. Your English-speaking driver will pick you up from your hotel or cruise ship in a fully equipped Mercedes Benz vehicle, and after a scenic 1.5-hour drive you’ll arrive in Manarola, where your licensed private guide will be waiting. Wander the narrow pebbled streets of this cliffside village, then hop between Vernazza and Monterosso by train or ferry, discovering ancient fortresses, historic churches, and the authentic flavors of the Italian Riviera along the way. At the end of this 9-hour experience, your chauffeur will bring you comfortably back to Livorno or another location of your choice.

Cinque Terre day trip from Livorno – Shore Excursion from the port of Livorno
The tour will begin with your private driver collecting you from your hotel or cruise ship in Livorno (another custom location in the area can be agreed) with a luxury sedan or minivan, and after 1.5H drive you will reach Manarola, the first of the “Five Lands”, namely “Cinque Terre“.
Upon arrival in Manarola, you will meet your licensed private guide who will lead you through this beautiful town. Your tour will proceed through the narrow pebbled streets, bringing you to the rocky cove surrounded by colorful buildings.
From Manarola, you will take a train/ferry for a short ride to Vernazza. Enjoy the ancient fortress used to protect the town for centuries from pirates and visit the domed church dedicated to Santa Margherita d’Antiochia. During the tour, accordingly to the itinerary and your tour guide suggestions, you can have lunch and taste the flavors of the regions.
From Vernazza, you will then depart by train/ferry and reach our last stop, the beautiful village of Monterosso. The tour will then conclude with a transfer back to your hotel/cruise ship in Livorno or other desired location.
Please note that the towns of Cinque Terre cannot be toured by car! You will visit the different villages together with your private guide (about 4H private tour) by train or ferry (ferry service is suspended during Autumn/Winter season and in case of bad sea conditions). Your chauffeur will take you from Livorno to Manarola and then will pick you up again in Monterosso to drive back to Livorno.
