Bernina Express Private Tour from Milan – A scenic journey through the Swiss Alps
The tour will begin with your private driver collecting you from your hotel in Milan (another custom location in the area can be agreed) with a luxury sedan or minivan.
Our Bernina Express private tour from Milan will take you to the infinite beauty of the Swiss Alps, ride along one of the most beautiful railway routes of the planet and discover the charming alpine village of Sankt Moritz. In about 3h30m, after a scenic road on Lake Como, you will reach the town of Tirano close to Swiss border.
In Tirano, you will board the Bernina Express railway service, the famous historic Swiss Red Train that travels through the UNESCO-listed site Bernina Pass, finally reaching the wonderful town of Sankt Moritz, after a 2h breathtaking journey. Watch the landscape change from windswept canyons and snow-clad glaciers to the chic chalets of St Moritz.
In Sankt Moritz, you will have some free time, to enjoy the elegance and chicness of one of them most famous Swiss Alpine towns, to do some shopping and/or enjoy a typical lunch. Your private day trip will end back in Milan (or other preferred location) after a 3h drive.
Please note that this tour is subject to availability of the Red Train tickets and that this experience includes 1st or 2nd class train tickets, depending on availability. We usually purchase window seats whenever possible but if window seats are sold-out at the time of your booking we will book isle seats.
Optional for the tour, we can organize a private guide that will stay with you during the trip by train and the visit of St. Moritz.
