The transfer tour will begin with your private driver collecting you from your hotel in Florence or Rome (another custom location in the area can be agreed). You will enjoy a door-to-door private chauffeur service to your hotel from Florence to Rome or viceversa. During the transfer you’ll have an en-route stop in Orvieto for a couple of hours, the time to visit the town. Stopping here isn’t an option, it’s a duty!
Orvieto is a beautiful town of Etruscan origin sits on a high cliff overlooking the surrounding countryside. Going through its charming historical center rich with Renaissance and Medieval palaces you will reach Orvieto’s main attraction: the Cathedral, started in 1290, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture.
After the visit to the town you can stop in a winery located in the beautiful Umbrian countryside just outside Orvieto. You will visit the estate, learn about the production process and the varieties of local grapes and finally have a wine tasting.
After the visit of Orvieto the trip will then conclude with the transfer to your hotel in Florence or Rome.
