About the tour
A full-day private excursion from Florence combining two of Tuscany’s highlights, with door-to-door hotel pickup in a luxury Mercedes Benz vehicle. After a 1.5-hour drive, the day begins in Pisa, where guests explore Piazza dei Miracoli on their own, taking in the Leaning Tower and the Cathedral, with time for lunch at a typical local restaurant. Climbing the Leaning Tower can be arranged with an advance reservation on request. After a 45-minute drive, the tour continues to Lucca, a Renaissance town hidden behind its imposing walls, perfect for exploring on foot – highlights include the round Piazza Anfiteatro (built on the site of an ancient Roman amphitheater), the Duomo of Saint Martin, and the Torre Guinigi with its rooftop garden of oak trees. The private driver returns guests to their hotel in Florence at the end of the day. An official local guide can be added to accompany the group throughout the trip.

Pisa & Lucca day trip from Florence – Enjoy Tuscany Best Sites
The tour will begin with your private driver collecting you from your hotel in Florence (another custom location in the area can be agreed) with a luxury sedan or minivan, and after 1.5H drive you will reach Pisa. Once a maritime power to rival Genoa and Venice, modern Pisa is best known for an architectural project gone wrong. But the world-famous Leaning Tower is just one of many noteworthy sights in this compelling city.
You’ll have the chance to visit the centre of the town with a portfolio of well-maintained Romanesque buildings, Gothic churches and Renaissance squares. A charm you will definitely discover starting from Piazza dei Miracoli with The Leaning Tower and the magnificent Cathedral. If you wish to climb on top of the Leaning Tower, we can make for you the necessary advanced reservation (this is optional and not included). In Pisa there will be time to have lunch in a typical restaurant, enjoying Tuscany food.
The tour will then continue with 45min driving to the lovely Lucca. Hidden behind imposing Renaissance walls, its cobbled streets, handsome piazzas and shady promenades make it a perfect destination to explore by foot: Piazza Anfiteatro, a round square built on the site of an ancient Roman amphitheater; the Duomo of Saint Martin, the fascinating cathedral; the Torre Guinigi, a Medieval tower topped by the oaks of its hanging garden.
At the end of the day, the tour will conclude and your private driver will take you back to your hotel in Florence or other desired location.
